Weight loss update: 188

When I moved down to California  I was near 210. Thats Obese for my age and height. Granted I was depressed and basically down and out! In an overall emotion and life rut! Even once I moved down here I was still depressed after a month of being here. Granted paying 400 to sleep on some one else's couch was brutal! Defiantly didn't help me that she was very active, skinny, gorgeous, and dating.......how could some one like that be a friend to me. An over weight beast! I was no fun! Went to the Dr's office and got on crazy pills, that lasted for 2 maybe 3 months. Well what made me better, as much as I hate to admit it was a guy. A super cute, frat boy, jock type of guy. Who seemed interested in me. After being single for well over 3 close to 4 years. Finally a date! Long story short this guy and I didn't end up as romantical. But what did happen was this guy showed me I am me. And I have the power to be me and I am something not a nothing. So this all helped me on the emotional end. Well back to the fat end. I changed my eating habit at work due to the promotion and simply not having any free time to eat. So one day I just realized I just don't eat crazy amt of food!

Now down 22-25 pounds from where I started at! WOW I can feel and tell a difference in Just about everything I am doing! Well since I have started these changes I kinda plateaued at 20 pounds, so I started Slim Fast trying to be strict on it is hard so now I am eating food, with some slim fast but watching my calorie in take with the help of fatsecret.com.

Now I also recently Joined a gym! Yay me! and they threw in a free personal Trainer. Lets say its nice i have asked several questions and she has been showing me how to use the machines and what I need to do to get to my target. Super soar today!

As for dinner I thawed out frozen salmon, (fried with several shakes of curry, a pinch of garlic, and a smidgen of cayenne pepper.)  mixed it up with some jasmine brown rice in a skillet and it ended up quite delish!

Something I will most def be making again!
