Drive to Fresno

Oh boy!!! The drive to Fresno is a super boring one! Hopefully next time I go there will be with zak as we are going to Washington!! That's the plan at least!! But this trip I seen a few things that made me pull my cell up ASAP and hit the camera button to capture the excitement that I knew would always be saved in digital media!!!

RPM

PRM....Sacramento,Ca.

This is a work event. I had the joy of being stuck in my car for 6 hours with our DM (ugh) on only 3 hours of sleep. So what do u do? Nothing!!! But we get up to Sac. and head into a conference room full of other area managers. There are a couple of vendors here and there. Sanyo, Samsung, Microsoft, TEP, Ereycling and my favorite H.R. Yes human resources!! Of course later in to the event the pretty and my real favorite came in Michelle with BLACKBERRY!! She of course didn't talk.(Just my luck). But I still sat in this room with my cell phone goodies, listening and clapping to other teams win, some of them over and over again! How did a friend say it? Who's fault is it? When u fail individually ? If your team fails? If ur district fails? Ummmmmm.....

Off point!! After this 3 hour sit down listening to the talks of reps and managers, we all head up stars to enjoy sandwiches, bread meat, cheese, sauces, veGgies, salt pepper.....let's talk about this pepper business for a second! I just wanted a little bit on my sandwich.... So why did 2 ounces of pepper end up on my now un-ediable sandwich? We all then get called to register for racing!!!! I feel the need for speed! I register, go into my group, get my super sexy green jumpsuit head out in to briefing, then to the race concourse!! After I get my helmet head sock I get placed into my speed machine.... I was a speed demon, sadly I only placed 7 out of 8! Lame! But I think they rated it lamely! I should have been at least 4

Rule #81: Use Hand-Me-Down Braces & Retainers

Adapted from website: http://www.reallybadparentingadvice.com/

Try to clean some of the food particles out before we put them on your little brother.
Dentists are always trying to tell you that every child’s mouth is different.
They’ll blather on about overbites and under-bites and pie-holes that are too big or too small.

But, really, a mouth’s a mouth—and this happens to be your third child’s mouth, so it really makes no sense why you should have to pay thousands of dollars for your 12-year-old son’s mouth of bent metal when your 14-year-old daughter just had her braces taken off.

So, how do you explain this delicately to your child, who is already not all that thrilled about becoming a metal mouth?

Sit up straight and listen, good people who whimsically follow fashionable trends even though you don’t even remotely believe in them: Play the I’m-doing-it-for-the-good-of-the-environment card.

Why the hell not? People have used the environment for crappier reasons lately, such as buying smaller cars, low-flush toilets and only having sex in the dark.

You’re recycling. It’s virtuous. It’s fun.

And your kid isn’t buying it.

So you’ll say something like: “Jason, look, I know the retainer seems too big. But you’ll grow into it.”

And Jason will probably say: “How do I grow into a retainer?”

Which you’ll ignore by changing the subject to fishing.

And Jason will probably say: “I hate fishing. And what about these braces? They’re too loose. They’re just hanging like metal cobwebs on my teeth. I can’t eat. I can’t sleep. It’s horrible, dad. We didn’t even get a dentist to put them on. No offense, dad, but I don’t think your friend did a good job.”

Which you’ll deny, then say: “Jason, my friend Pete is registered with the state as a licensed electrician. He wires shit all the time. So, lacing the used wire to the teeth in your mouth was no big deal to him, provided I buy him Cuban cigars and several lottery tickets. Besides, you’ll grow into them.”

And Jason will probably say: “But dad—I…”

Which you’ll interrupt by reminding him: “Jason, remember that time you were all dead-set against wearing your big sister’s underwear? And what happened? That’s right, you grew into them.

Travel Plans....

Looking into the travel way home. Well Zak has never been to Oregon or Washington. He actually has never been as far north as San Fransisco. So I am trying to see what I can do to make this a fun trip for him. You know something he will never forget. So I was looking at the map and to take the route through to see the red woods is a 19 hour drive. But that is also going to include going up the coast line as well. You know the amazing Oregon coast line!

So far things to see:
1. Napa Valley
2. Red Wood Forest
3.Old Faithful Geyser of California
--1299 Tubbs Lane, Calistoga, CA
4.Confusion Hill
-- 75001 North Hwy 101, Piercy, CA
5.World's Largest Totem Pole
--Central Avenue, McKinleyville, CA
6.Pikes Market
7. Space Needle.
....and well what ever else we wanna do!

Wondering....

Ok so I was thinking what am I going to do after I am jobless come Sept 8th I am not going to have any cash flow. I will have to depend on me quick minded wit (not) and hard work personification to ensure I get a PT job just to make ends meet! Well I had it planned I quit the 25th, leave home on the 27th. But since Sprint is not telling me I can not have my pre approved vacation to Vegas, I am basically being forced to quit on the 7th, so that means  I will not have the money I had planned for. So I think I have my boss thinking about firing me... HELLLLOO un-employment!!

Back to my friends and family!! I am starting to pack things up and getting ready to do my first wave of shipping things out. Little things that I will not need here. Like my Scrap and photo books. Hats stuffed animals stuff that that. Hopefully When I am all ready I will be able to just pack and go!! Lucky for me my sometimes awesome bestie will be packing our bags and hitting the road!! Only thing to find out is when will we leave!? TBD
